Work with us
Do meaningful threatened-species work with better tools.
We are a small team of zoologists and engineers building monitoring systems for bats, birds, and other threatened species. The work is practical: field sites, real data, difficult animals, and decisions that matter.

Zoologist / Field Ecologist
Adelaide-based
We are looking for a zoologist or field ecologist with a few years of field experience and a genuine interest in where ecological monitoring is heading.
You will work across projects involving bats, birds, and threatened species, from field deployments at remote sites through to reviewing what our systems collect: camera footage, acoustic data, LiDAR, radar, and AI-assisted detections.
This is hands-on work. Some days are field logistics, equipment, and site conditions. Some are careful review, interpretation, and reporting. The point is to produce useful evidence for consulting, conservation, and regulatory decisions.
You do not need to arrive as a technologist. You do need to be comfortable in the field, curious about the tools, careful with data, and willing to learn.
You would work alongside experienced zoologists and engineers in a small team where everyone is expected to think, contribute, and take responsibility.
Ideally you are in Adelaide — but if you are keen and up for the move, we want to hear from you.
To apply, send your resume and a short note about yourself. Tell us what you have worked on, what you are good at, and why this kind of work interests you.
